Awake Named Visionary Innovation Leader for NTA by Frost & Sullivan
While the amazing streak of awards and accolades that Awake Security and its network traffic analysis platform received during 2019 has officially come to an end, 2020 is already starting on a high note.
The venerable analyst firm Frost & Sullivan just named Awake Security a Visionary Innovation Leader in the network traffic analysis (NTA) category. The award is based on an independent analysis that Frost & Sullivan conducted to identify the companies addressing the most challenging cybersecurity threats. In a 10-page report that further details this honor (download here), the Frost & Sullivan analyst describes how Awake stands out from other solutions in the market because of its innovative technology, customer satisfaction, and strong overall performance that delivers rapid time-to-value.
According to Vinay Venkatesan, Research Consultant, Visionary Innovation Group at Frost & Sullivan:
“Awake Security’s platform monitors and compares device behaviors and activities across an organization’s ecosystem to provide more than twice as much accuracy as competing technologies, and subsequently, almost 1,500% less false negatives and false positives. Awake Security’s solution allows an organization to achieve a high return on investment while enabling security personnel to focus on more cognition-intensive tasks.”
Frost & Sullivan describes visionary innovation as the ability to innovate today in light of perceived changes and opportunities that will arise from future megatrends. The firm recognizes companies for their ability to scout and detect unmet, and as often undefined needs and proactively address them with disruptive solutions that cater to new and unique customers, lifestyles, technologies, and markets.
Receiving this award based on independent analysis provides another strong validation that Awake has developed an advanced network traffic analysis solution that empowers organizations to detect and respond to increasingly sophisticated threats that traditional solutions miss. But perhaps more importantly, being recognized as a visionary leader also attests to the fact that the Awake platform is built to stay ahead of attackers and give organizations the capabilities they need to spot ever-evolving tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Frost & Sullivan may be the first to recognize Awake Security in 2020, but the firm joins a list of many other notable organizations that recognized the company for its innovative technology in 2019. Among the many awards last year, Awake was named to CNBC’s Upstart 100 list in November, was a SINET 16 Innovator Award winner, won the Gold Edison Award for Best New Cybersecurity Product, won a Cyber Defense Global Award for Cybersecurity Analytics, was included in the Big50-2019 Startup Report, was named by Cybersecurity Ventures as a Hot 150 Cybersecurity Company to Watch, and was recognized by Business Insider as one of the most promising cybersecurity companies in 2019.
There’s no question that 2019 was a banner year for Awake Security. And now, we’re already setting the stage for what’s to come as we enter a new decade!
